A 30-year-old Erin man remains warded at hospital after being shot by a male relative on Saturday. At around 2.50 pm, Sean Baptiste, of Rancho Quemado Road, was walking near his home when the relative, walking in the opposite direction, shot him.
The bullet struck Baptiste on his right arm and right leg. He ran a short distance and fell on the road while the relative escaped.

Baptiste was taken to the Siparia District Health Facility then transferred to the San Fernando General Hospital where he underwent surgery to remove the bullet.
