ICN honours nation’s change leaders
Citizens whose leadership has influenced change in their communities and spheres of endeavour will be honoured at this year’s I Change Nations (ICN) Distinguished Leadership Awards on Friday and Saturday at 136A Colm Hall Belmont (West) Circular Road, Belmont, Port of Spain. The recipients are 20 people from all walks of life who are making a positive impact.
“This is all about restoring a culture of honour—the main thrust of ICN,” explained Dr Glendon Rudder, I Change Nations advisor to Caribbean States and Territories.
ICN, a professional institution that equips, mentors and trains individuals who have the desire to change nations across the world, is committed to bringing back the lost art of honour by building a culture of honour that recognizes individuals world who have exemplified extraordinary humanitarian efforts to effectively change nations.
Over the years, ICN has honoured people and organisations that believe every life is valuable and is created to bring a contribution to the world. The organisation, the largest “building cultures of honour” network in the world, is headed by Dr Clyde Rivers, founder and president, a leading expert of Golden Rule Dialogue which says, treat others how you want to be treated.
Keynote speaker at this year’s event will be Dr Dan Justice from Ft Worth, Texas, in the United States, Goodwill Peace Ambassador for Golden Rule International. Dr Justice is an author, speaker and TV host, as well as a Global Advisor for ICN. He is also the founder of Preparing Messiah’s Inheritance (PMI) and chairman of Rhema COG (Construction,Oil & Gas) LLC USA, Nigeria.
At Friday’s conference he will speak on Changing the World through Distinguished Leadership Influence and will also be present for the awards ceremony the following day. Both sessions will commence at 6 pm with praise and worship and conclude at 9 pm.
These events are just some of the activities planned by the local chapter of ICN over the coming weeks and months. The Golden Rule International Awards Ceremony takes place in Port-of-Spain next month.
