Chaguanas mayor promises bigger Carnival next year
Mayor of Chaguanas Orlando Nagessar hopes Carnival next year would be bigger and more creative than this year. He said there was always room for improvement and expected that the creative and latent talents of the people of Chaguanas and environs would be fully demonstrated on the stage next year. Nagessar noted that Carnival 2013 in Chaguanas was crime-free and was optimistic that this accomplishment would be duplicated in 2014 and beyond.
