Prisoner escapes from Carrera island

Monday, January 18, 2016

Members of the prison service are today asking the public’s assistance in locating escaped prisoner, 51 year old Reynold James.

James was serving a 10 year sentence for burglary at the Carrera island penitentiary when he made a dash for freedom around 5pm on Sunday.

Up to late last night the prison service was conducting searches in and around the small island.

James is to be considered armed and dangerous. He has a tattoo of his initials on his right forearm.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is being asked to contact police.
