SEWDASS: EZEKIEL b.k.a. (Kello)
The St. Benedict's College stage its 5K road run on Friday after a two-years hiatus. The took a field of an estimated 300 runners from the Health Centre on the Southern Main Road, La Romaine, around the community and back to the starting point.
First to the finish-line was Kyle Younglao, who stopped the clock at 18 minutes and three seconds, Mickel Ravello followed him (19:42) and Josiah Carliste secured the third place after he posted 20 minutes and 33 seconds).
The event was watched by Principal Anne Gomes-Phillips and other teachers and staff, while English teacher Strown Lightbourne served as the race Coordinator. Veteran road race administrator Jan Westmaas of SouthCross Athletics assisted with the event at the finish-line.
